Welcome JBombelli,
That YGCG is a great blade you need to see just how good it is!
Take it out and amaze yourself, for the first time you can pick on a target bigger than your knife! The Scrap Yard Knives are over the top in strength and durability.
I love these blades and hard use every one I own. They are just remarkable. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />
Glad to see a new poster with a huge bicep tat too! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
I have a 5 inch circular on mine! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />
Great BLAST on yours! Always been my worse nightmare..I have a re-occurring A-Bomb nightmare about twice a year. Bad stuff those.
Enjoy your new blade,and your new friends. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
Welcome to The Yard.
Peace.
Some people just never learn.

Again, thanks everybody. I am highly impressed with the durability of this knife. For once in my life I have a blade I'm not scared to actually use. I've broken several knives over the years... Gerbers, Bucks, a couple of Schrades, a Kershaw... one of my Gerber MK 1s I broke just by dropping it. Broke 3/8" off the tip. I did lots of reading before I finally settled on this one.
Now... as soon as I get paid, I'm probably going to order another sheath, as this cordura drop-leg job doesn't conceal very well. So I'll be in touch with you soon, Rainwalker. I already have your site bookmarked!
edited to add: I figured I'd better clarify before somebody thinks I'm planning to carry this big knife every day... that's not it. I'm not a knife fighter. A knife is the last thing I'm ever going to take to a knife fight. That's why I carry a pistol. I just want to be able to throw on an over-shirt and cover it up when I'm out at my parents' house on the back 40 clearing brush or woods, and decide to head to the store for a drink or something. Big knives tend to scare people.
