OP madborderman07 Pound Puppy M Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 8	I wanted to post over here on the scrapyard forum, so I could get some of your input. I recently acquired a scrapper 6 from a balde forums member. I have used it very little. I was doing some batoning this weekend and the res-C handle split at the top. I have since emailed PATTI @ scrapyard knives about this. By no means am I complaining about the knife, I absolutely love it. I am just trying to see how common this is. I never hit the handle directly, cause im sure this question will arise. Th e1st picture was a few weekends ago.

I have had to beat on the handles occassionally to unstick a knife from wood I was spitting. It scuffed them up a bit, but no serious damage. I'm sure SYKCO will make it right. BTW, looks like near Okeefenokee Swamp in your first picture. Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I have hammered on the back of my S6's handle some with a hammer stick, but not even enough to really scuff it yet. I was really impressed at how well the handles held up in Noss's tests.
