I went looking for another nearby lake today that a friend had told me about, it turned out to be easy to find but you couldn't walk around the lake as it was private property so you needed a boat to really enjoy it !




Maisy still enjoyed it !!!

Anyway we didn't stop long but went to another nearby lake that you can walk around....

While I was there I spotted these little guys....

Maisy was straight in again !!!

Just as we were coming to the end of our walk we spotted this big guy, he didn't look too happy that we had seen him !!!!

how close did you get to the bald eagle?

as far as bird shots go, that looks like you were right up on him!

I'd guess I was 20 feet from him ! Maybe closer !!!

That is so incredible. Its so cool where I live (Stockton CA) to see a major comback of many wild animals. Hawks, River Otters, etc. Now if we could just get the yuppies to stop pannicking whenever they see a Mtn Lion. Things always end up bad when that happens.
