A friend of mine is taking an extended trip to India and shooting everything he can. Here's a link to the spring festival where they fling colored powder at each other. It looks fun and is very colorful. Someone told me that historically it was a natural antibiotic and they threw it everywhere during the start of the cold and flu season. Strange! A few weeks ago I went flyfishing at one of the beaches here in Jacksonville. The whiting were maing their run and I thought I might try them on the fly. Anyway there were a group of Indians engaging in this celebration. I thought it was a birthday party at the time.
