Hi all. New to the Yard round here. Just bought my first Scrap Yard blade. A yard Guard.
Gotta say. One hell of a knife. I have been using SOGs, Bucks, and Case for most all of my needs, and none have fit my big a$$ paw like this YG has. It just seems proper.
I did a lot of research before I bought on, and purchased without ever having had one in my hands, cause I knew I could easily get my money back. And I can say, AIN'T NO ONE GETTING THIS BLADE FROM ME!!
So I can defiantly say that Scrap Yard and the Busse Kin Blades have a new convert.

Jim,
Welcome to the yard. It is a costly addiction. Check here often for posts from Dumpster Dan announing new releases and sale dates. They dissappear fast as a general rule. The yard guard and yard hook were the exceptions. They seemed to last awhile.

Welcome to the yard, Jimmy. The Yard Guard is a heck of a knife. I don't know of a tougher 7" blade around.

Welcome Jimmy to The Yard.
I have a Hook which is the brother knife to the Guard and I know just what you mean. It is massive! I never had a seven inch knife fit and feel so good in my over sized hands.
They really are awesome. I hard use mine all the time. Took some getting used to. Re-training the mind to use a knife as more than just a thing to cut open a box or trim some string!
Beat that knife! It is a beast and will serve you well the rest of your life Jimmy.
