No new news to you veteran Canines, I'm sure.

I sent my Dumpster Mutt to him for some of his "magic" and just received some before/after pics (convex edge).

Simply AMAZING is all I can say!!!

Thany you very, very much, Vic!

Be careful Leighman, I have Scrapper 6 that HD sharpened <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />. You could cut off a finger with it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> and not know it until you passed out from blood loss <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

Vic is the Grindmaster. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Now be careful with it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I will definitely respect the edge of this little beast.

However I have a half-dozen or so scars remaining as a testement to doing stupid things as a kid with some type of edged implement!

Once you have used a truly sharp knife you will be amazed how you got along without one. Has anyone seen the new Lansky add in the July issue of Blade?
It is almost worth the price of the mag but I would be pissed if I had paid for add space next to it.

Not only is HD a sharpening Jedi he is also a great guy!

One knife that really shows the most improvement from an HD sharpening is the fatty YKLE.

This morning there was a package waiting for me at the local post office.

Being a very small town where everyone knows everyone the postal clerk hands me the package, grins and asks, "Rifle scope or another knife?"

Like a 10-year old on Christmas morning I savagely (yet carefully) rip open the package to find my beloved Dumpster Mutt is now sporting a gleaming and somewhat sinister-looking convex edge!

Sharp? Scary sharp and almost too pretty to use....almost.

Thank you again, Horn Dog. You ARE the Grindmaster!
