I have read that somewhere before myself. I just took it for it's word, but I don't "know" if it is true. I didn't feel I needed evidence. Wasn't sure that it mattered to me. But, I tend to be leery of just believing everything I read.
I don't know.....
Bottom line: I don't know that being a College Professor makes you an expert at knife-making and/or steel metalurgy...... or even smart.
There are lots of different kinds of intelligence.
I know LOTS of "smart" people who can't figure out simple things in life.
But, I am confident Jerry has proven his worth with steel.... all that matters to me.
