Err I voted no on this one too.. I'm not anti sword but I'd rather have something like Horndog's rubber handled jungle parang or a humble Martindale Golok machete over the Yard sword. Reason being in my experience of using them as tools (not weapons) I've accidentally hit rocks when chopping (ouch) or caused nasty edge damage on underground obstacles while using them as impromptu shovel

But a distal tapered Wharncliffe S14 could be a winner..

I also voted no. I just would have no use for one....

What what what?

We have all these annoying saplings around here and that would be perfect.

Mac, blow $10 on a Tramontina Bolo, cry Havoc(!) and let slip the dogs of war!

That would make a great chopper. A bit heavy, perhaps, but I'm *sure* I'd still buy one, up to $350-ish, maybe a little more.

Paul, blow $350 on a CERBERUS, cry Havoc(!) and let slip the keeper of the gate to the underworld!

Mac, if I spent $350 on anything sharp and pointy, I best make sure I'm wearing my running shoes when the wife found out!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I thought 400 would be a good price. The AKs were like 600 released, more with options.

I mean SR-77 is the perfect steel for a sword so why the heck not? Right?

ted knows what he's talkin about. he's got the sickest swords around. show em the barkie, ted.

although i wouldn't ask for one, if one was available for max $350 shipped, i'd take one.
