Nothing like a good epiphany!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can't think of anything better. I keep all my stuff soaked in Eezox unless its going to touch food. Which is basically never. I need to do more food prep.

Well, I want a DFLE with a parkerized finish, sharpened swedge, epoxied leather handle with a .25" thick welded-in- place steel guard and a big old bolt of a pommel. The Dog Warrior! I have a spare. I wonder who could do that for me?

Parkerized finish would be way cool. Sharpened swedge- another nice touch.

I'll definitely take one. I've always liked uncoated blades. They polish up nicely. If I want to coat it later, there's always Rust-oleum.

I have a very similar knife to that coming next week. It is a Rosarms Baby with a wicked looking 9 inch bowie with the leather washer handle and a guard It is stainless polished though not parked. I much prefer bluing and guncoats to parking. Parkerizing was done instead of bluing for military gear because it could be done in huge batches.
So is there anyone who knows how hot you vcan get RES C before anything permanent happens?

I would be down for one run of them. It would give me the opportunity to grind on one of my Busse combat family knives and not be quite so worried about screwing it up.

I voted for "I am OK with it and could go for one run of knives anyway". In general I prefer satin and coated blades, but I like a little variety here and there.

Looks good but to me the coating is on there for a reason,to protect the blade from the elements...my opinion only..I love the LE versions and the CG models not to fond of the DC's though.
