Well, Noss did it again. The destruction test of the Ranger RD7 is in. You can all watch it for yourselves, but I will say that it didn't perform very well . Not nearly as well as the Scrapper 6. Comments? And yes, we all know that no knife is designed with concrete chopping in mind. Some just happen to excel at it

Here's the link:
http://knifetests.com/RangerRD7DestructionTest.html

just watch the last segment if you aren't interested in the whole thing. It sums up the test and compares it to the S6

Very Interesting, thanks for the link.

I didn't have time to watch much, I'll have to go back and watch more later.

Oh yeah! Noss does the most awesome destruction tests I have seen. I have Rangers and they are pretty tough knives, but that SR77 is just in a class by itself. The Scrapper 6 rules.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

i'm shocked. first we see a busse kin knife yield to lateral pressure that didn't phase a $10 knife, now this. the idols are just falling left and right.

Noss didn't seem very impressed with that Ranger did he? (Strokes S6 in smug satisfaction.. )

just to be fair, i think it should be noted that the ranger's edge held out against the concrete much better than the scrapper.
