MesserHund,
You beat all you know that!!
He bought them ALL!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />
Holy Crap!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />
Well I know that the ONLY reason was to unite JYD's with their numbered blade and THAT is a wonderful gesture if not a bit over the top in Dogdome!
Incredible Jerry!! What you did for all The Dogs is just the most selfless and magnanimous gesture I have EVER heard of. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />
Permanent hats off to The Messerhund for caring for Dogs above and WAY beyond the call of duty! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />
I for one can't say thank you enough. From my soul this means so much to me. Especially in Stainless. What a guy! What a DOG! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Peace. No, I did not buy them all, I want that to be clearly stated. I did buy more than a few of the lowest numbered ones though.
Be prepared.......It is more than a motto it is a way of life.

Jerry, you are too much! So, you have #12, eh? Been needing a new paring knife. Ask Dan if they are dishwasher safe. Just kidding. I wouldn't want to bleach out my number!
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

When I got to the Dog booth Saturday two of the sweetest young ladies behind the counter quickly had me mesmerized. I picked up a Mudpuppy and fondled it a bit and said that I would take one, no make that two. How much are these? OK, I'll take five! While I was arranging to pay for them Amy-O dashes over asking, 'How many Cultelli did you get Thursday night?' So before I got started good I had spent a thousand dollars and had only been there 15 minutes!! I still managed to pick up a few other blades but the first one I sharpened up real good when I got home was a my #77 Mudpuppy.
If you're not pissed off you're not paying attention.

I keep coming back to the Mud Puppy and my Tan CGYK. I gotta make some sheaths for them so I can carry them around. They were my favorite blades I saw and or purchased.

Great story. It really was a great time from Fogos all the way to the induction dinner. On Sunday I was headed out of Atlanta and almost turned to go back for the last couple of hours. I am curious, being new here I was wondering how you guys got or can get those JYD numbers? I see one of the members is wanting his number on one of the knives and I happen to have it. I could possibly trade. Chickenplucker

Jerry,
Thanks for the trade on Saturday! I'm loving my MudPuppy.
You can imagine my surprise when I showed up about 10 seconds after Jerry and saw the girls all looking flustered because Jerry scooped a double fistful of MudPups. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> It was a classic moment.
