I love that photo with all the orange. It is one of my favorite colours and I have some lanyards and lots of good 550 cord in it.
I especially like the Orange SWAK Mora. I have a Mora Clipper but I kind of like the handle on the SWAK better.

The square lanyards are fairly easy to make. You need good 550 cord with the middle removed. The real trick is getting the cords the right length.
