I just finished a press using Concealex with the "carbon fiber" pattern. No damage to report. I did wrap the grip with painters tape just in case.

Not sure about the mini-gun thing. I picked up the name from a Black Label Society Song.

Jeff, in case you didn't see my thread last week... thanks! It's sweet.


It got tested out over the last few days. I don't always have to tuck my shirt in, so I've actually been wearing my Yard Guard to work. In an office. In a professional environment. And nobody has been the wiser!

Well Im putting some finishing touches on the Concealex sheath and tomorrow Ill try to post a pic with the Mutts. I see now what Rainwalker and J33 were talking about and I had to go back and remove a more material and "flair" out the mouth of the sheath a little to keep it from rubbing the Resiprene. It works pretty good now but I just need to tweak it a bit with a heat gun. I also noticed the coating on the blade seems to keep it pretty snug all on its own. Im sure that it will loosen over time.

I appreciate all the comments. I work a lot with leather making gun holsters, belts and sheaths but this is only my second Kydex type sheath. The first was for a RAT-5.

I gotta say I love my Mutts. They just feel right in the hand and that is one thick blade!

EH, take a look at that blade for a moment.Look how thick it is,marvel at the door breaching pointed tip.
There is really NOTHING you can do to hurt that Mutt. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

I beat mine savagely on the weekends. I do bad things to it in the woods and all I have been able to do is
wear down some of the Combat Grade coating near the edge.
That blade is a pry bar with a handle on it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Now EH act like a Dog and take that blade out and amaze yourself with it! That is when you will finally understand
what Scrap Yard knives are all about. Seriously. They are so solid that you KNOW they will not fail you. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
