I finally received my sheath for my dmdc. It was for the yard keeper(I think that was the right name), but said that it would fit the dm. When I insert my knife fully into the sheath, the tip of the knife sticks thru the bottom about an inch.
Is this typical of how the knife fits? Has anyone else had this problem with the sheath. Thanks for the help.

Not sure, but I doubt thats the way its supposed to fit. Email Dan or Patti, they should be able to help you.

I have the small kydex sheath the Scrapyard sells. My DMCG fits in it fine. I originally got it for the YKCG but was never happy with the fit. I tried remolding it but was still never happy. It sounds like the knife is going to far down into the sheath. If that is the case you should be able to heat the kydex (get instructions from one of the dogs that regularly works with kydex) and tighten it around the top. If that's not it yours was cut to short and needs to be replaced. I can measure mine tonight and let you know how long it should be if you'd like.

Jackell, thanks for the info. It you get a chance to measure the sheath that would be great. It just does not feel like a good fit. Thanks again.
