I remember I was stationed at Pope AFB (Where all the grunts get on the planes just to jump of of them) And I thought, Man, who would pay THAT much for a folder, granted a B I G folder, but sheesh. Stupid me!

Hooker, of all the knives in your pictures (great collection btw) I had a question about probably one of the least expensive. The Mora. I here nothing but good things about them. How do you like it? Easy to sharpen?

Thanks!

Been happy with the Mora. Got a deal on a pair and the user stays in the Toy Hauler Kitchen. Pretty good for food prep. I just hit it on the Spyderco sharpener once in a while and GTG. It sees a lot less use now that I got my Wiener Dog! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Thanks Hooker. For the price they seem to be well worth it. Going to pick up a few soon.

I like how you picked the Schrade over the 300$ blade that it's a copy of, lol. Knifetests.com have anything to do with that?

Nope our own Horn Dog had everything to do with that. After I get it sharp its going in my Get Home Bag, to be left in the truck.

I'm going to try and pick one up for just that purpose, except it'll be a little more acceptable to the MPs on post as a survival knife than my Dereg would be, although I'll still pack that. The schrade will definitely be an "Oh, look, I found myself in the mountains again" blade

Smokering, you have some great blades and a nice 1911 there. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks...I just got into fixed blades not too long ago and waited about a year to order a SY product because I discovered them when the next release wasn't available (or even pictured on the site). I think I only had 1 Kbar prior to ordering the Regulator.

I've had a liking for folders for about 15 years, but nothing really over the top ($$$) or customs. The 1911 is a government Springfield Loaded...
