Recieved my HCLE 4.0 today. May be my EDC for a while, along with my other EDC, a H&K 45C. ![[Linked Image from i947.photobucket.com]](http://i947.photobucket.com/albums/ad312/DHOOKER2/013.jpg)

Sweet 1911. I'm thinking of getting a SA like yours. How does it shoot?

Well as people find out 1911s can be finicky out of the box and may need adjustments even after "break-in". I have a few hundred rounds through and the only problem I had was not dropping empty mags when released. I adjusted the tension on the mag release button and problem solved. It is a Springfield loaded and shoots just great without any modifications. After another 1,000 rounds I may get the MHS changed out (hate the internal lock), lower the trigger pull a tad and change out to heaver springs.

His combat brother is very reliable out of the box.... ![[Linked Image from lh5.ggpht.com]](http://lh5.ggpht.com/_qLlKP6vtbSw/TEtIK8QK96I/AAAAAAAAATc/W2bZkQ1x9VI/s1024/xd%26scrapyard.JPG) I'll have to find the appropriate blades to accessorize for future pics..... ![[Linked Image from lh3.ggpht.com]](http://lh3.ggpht.com/_qLlKP6vtbSw/TKJCYb6jQAI/AAAAAAAAAVM/mWmQrj8nMc0/s912/010.JPG)

Smokering, you like the little spyderco with the dagger shape? I'm assuming false edge, no? What's it called?

RN, If you are refering to the little knife with the HK, it's called a Poliwog I think. IF you are referring to the one above the 1911 A1 45, I have no idea what it is called.

You are correct, that is a Poliwog under an XD .45 compact with a 13 shot mag and cover sleeve. The Syderco above the 1911 is a carbon fiber handle Tim Zowada design and it indeed has a false edge. It is a very cool knife and I do like it. | | |
