OP mhr Scrapper Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 629 pugetsoundopolis	Usually by this time of year, the high country is open. I should be hiking to the high lakes for lots of fine fishing by now. The slideshow linked below gives you some idea of how much snow we still have. All the pictures were taken between 2700 and 3000 feet elevation over the past two weekends. Caught a couple nice fish in the lake, but the water was still really cold (not fully ice free) and the fish weren't really active yet. Anyway, got in some good machete work on the trails and played around with the YKCG. Enjoy... Hiking Pics
