June was a bit dry. A lot of my grass died. But now the rains have come. Had a thunderstorm earlier that knocked out power for an hour or so. The chopping area is returning to the swamp from whence it came!

It's a jungle out there!

Third World Grind Shop is outside, so I'll have to do my grinding in the mornings. The foliage will grow fast. That's why I love my machetes.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

My neighbor had his property bush hogged in 1999. It is a jungle now. I am amazed at how fast nature can reclaim the land. My whole lot was thick when I first came out here. I liked it that way. I could disappear in my own yard. I had cut machete trails all through it. The girls loved it, but the wife was having none of that. She made me clear it so she could see the marsh from the house. Took out about 30 trees. Maintaining the trails was fun and easy. Now I have to mow and get it bush hogged every year! Maybe I should just let it go now the the wife has passed.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

You have a great place, Vic. I say let it grow and have fun making paths. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

It'll give you more stuff to have fun with later too. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I have a path that leads through the woods to the back of my place and another that leads into the woods in another direction. I love a good wooded path.

Looks like a nice chunk of land; I love overgrown rural acreage. I would let it grow and chop paths, like Rainwalker says.

Let it grow, let it grow.

Hey, wasn't that a song?
Maybe they were saying something else. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
