Nice. That is why I like fixed blades. I got into an argument with a friend of my brother's not too long ago. He swears up and down that his Benchmade folder and his Sebenza can do *anything* that a fixed blade can do. So I took my Yard Guard and chopped up a 4x4, then I hammered it into a tree and stood on it. I'm still waiting for him to hammer his Sebenza into a tree and stand on it. It won't happen, but if it does let us know.

Excellent Sharp!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
That's why I always carry a fixed blade too. Not that I go around standing on my blades, but I want to have a blade with me that I can count on completely! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
I'm not sure If I would trust any folder to be able to do that, although I'm sure there's some that could, but could they do it time and time again. And, would they work right or in some cases even close afterwards if they did survive...

The knives were pushed in to about... an inch or and 1.5 inches of the ricasso. There was a split in the log at we fitted the knife into, so no hammering was necessary
Klink: we're pretty careful. This was a whim, and I don't plan to do it again. I recently had three stitches from my RMD, so I've become more careful since then
Have you hugged your camp knife today?
