I would never want Dan to stop offering painted ones. On SR77 and especially SR101, the coating makes care a bit easier in wet climates. Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

northern1 Junk Yard Dog Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 1,226 syracuse,ny	bld522, i can see a SR77 blade with a bead blast finish having a rust spot but not stainless. i understand their is no such thing as stainless but these dimples are no joke.they are like evil little mini rust buckets that live on the knife like a parasite. maybe that was dramatic but the dimples worry me. if all you guys want CE so much why dont you strip your blades like HD did??
