Does anyone know where I can find a Scrapper 6 or Yard Guard for sale? A friend has a Yard Guard and I'm seriously lusting after it! It is such an awesome knife!

Welcome to the Yard crucso. You would need to look in the secondary market perhaps on the Exchange on Blade Forums or perhaps the BusseKinExchange here http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bussekinex...roup&slk=1. God luck with your quest. The S6 is in my top 5 favorite knives of all time.

Try the Busse, Swamp Rat, Scrap Yard sale forum on Blade Forums. I recently sold a Yard Guard and a Yard Hook there. Good luck.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Check this thread out it has all the info you need.

Be prepared to pay a high markup. The S6 is kinda hard to come buy. Usually when they go up for sale on the sec. market they are snatched up pretty quck.

Goodluck on finding either one.

Welcome to the yard!

Welcome crucso, and even if you do find one of those two it won't end there, oh no you'll be wanting knife after knife after knife. It's an addiction ,but a good kind. You will start trying to rack up overtime at work to have knife money, you'll laugh at other brands (not Busse kin!)But to say that these knives are good is a radical understatement. So enjoy your stay and kiss your savings goodbye hahahahahaha!

Welcome to the Yard, crucso.

Good luck in your quest for an S6 or YG. Bladeforums exchange.

Or stick around, maybe Dan will release some more eventually.

Welcome Crucso.

Like the others suggested is the best bet for landing a Scrapper 6 or Yard Guard.

Not sure if the YG rates near the S6, as I haven't had the chance to fondle one yet . From the general consensus, I think the S6 might be just that much more of a better thing. But I'm sure some would disagree.

I'm actually thinking about a YG myself but since I got my S6, I don't know whether I can be bothered now. I mean this S6 is something else IMO. And I wonder whether the extra 1/2", different style blade with that thumb rest on the spine would gel for me out bush. The only answer here is, I think I need to get a YG & see.
Yes, welcome to the Scrap Yard addiction
