I would be all over a Scrap Yard Bolo. I have Bolos from Cold Steel, Tramontina, Clyde Cutlery, and Condor.

Here is the style of Bolo blade that I like the best. This style works great for trail/brush clearing and also doubles as an excellent spatula for flipping burgers and flap-jacks!

Here are a bunch of different machete pictures to give you guys some ideas while we're all dreaming. I happen to be a machete lover!

A SYKW Bolo or machete style blade would be the ultimate!

PS- Can I be in the brotherhood?

Yes! Bring on the big blades! I want something that makes the DF look like a MP in comparison.

I can't help it. I like big knives.

That barong looks wicked...reminds me of 300. Barong, machete, bolo, khuk or gladius, I'm in for any oversized scrapper.

While I slept, the Brotherhood grew. I seems to me that quite a few dogs would like a really big knife. Bolo, kukri, barong, golok, or whatever. If it is a bolo or barong, I'd prefer thinner stock, like 1/8" to 3/16" thick to keep the weight reasonable. We already know that SY has some stock of SR77 that thin.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

i think the khukri is a tough one as i'm pretty sure that the stock dan gets is straight, something about the width and thickness of the dog father. a bent knife would take some wide stock or lots more labor, either of which will be pretty expensive.

thus, i am now in favor of the bolo or golok. 1/4" or 1/8" thick, i'll buy either.

don't forget my 6"-7" long, 1/8" thick blade. can we add that to the list? that's oversize for a thin utility knife! in my mind, it's 'the long knife' despite owning many blades that are much larger.
