I would still think the Hook would be a better chopper.

That's why parangs and bolos work. Especially well designed parangs.

It isn't. Trust me. Neither the Hook nor the Guard even come close to a Camp Tramp.

I did not know that Vic, thanks for the heads up. How much off are they? Both off as much, or one more than the other? Any pics on this chop off?

Thanks Sharp, now I remember. I like the looks of the Hook better though.

Yes, recurves are aesthetically striking.

I'm not saying the YG and YH can't chop. They can, and better than a lot of knives, but not like the Chopweiler or Camp Tramp. I tried thinning out the edges and all, but the Camp Tramp just plain chops better. So I sold my YG and YH over on Busse Sales. They went fast, too.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

How big is the RatDaddy anyway?

Bigger than a Battle Mistress. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> 1.5" longer than a RatMastiff. 10.5" blade, 16.25" overall.
