If you are like me you have a list of knives you plan to buy.
I also have a list of blades that I would buy if I had some sort of financial windfall.

I thought it would be interesting to see what your wish lists are?

I suggest 2 ,one for reality and one for what reality should be.

Here is my reality list in as close to actual buying order as I can get it.

My next knife will probably be a Rosarms combo of their huge expedition knife which is a 15 inch kukuri and their Companion2 with birch burl.

Here is one I had for a while then sold to a buddy who is a gun collector in Toronto. The mayor of Toronto is possibly the stupidest elected official in North America. Because my friend has a large amount of (gasp) guns legally registered the mayor who has decided to get rid of all the legal guns in Toronto raided his home at 1 AM with a Swat team.
There was no criminal act even accused ,what my friend had was legal registered guns. All they could charge him with is 1 charge of improper storage but they stole his 125 legal registered guns AND the KNIFE!

So this knife pictured here with he CR Inyoni is actually in the clutches of the enemy.

That is the same idiot mayor who wants to ban(he loves banning things)idling your car for more than 10 seconds in a city with 30 second stop lights..

Oops got off track of the wish list a bit by my Mayor Miller sucks rant.
The Mule2 is also on my list. When it comes out is iffy though.

The S7 is a definite but that S9 looked good as well in the pics from Blade.

I try to have 1 excellent example of all types of knives. I need a good modern gents folders with a first rate snobsteel blade. So far the Caly3 in ZDP and CF
or the little Fallkniven with the 3G blade. The Polliwog is also a contender but more for the mechanism than blade.

I already have 2 excellent large folders a Serrated Police and PE Chinook3 but this Bladetech has always looked great to me and is as close as you can get to a RATTRAP.

I don't have a single Barkie but another type of knife I have a lot of is small good tactical/outdoor fixed blades but there might be room for a WetrEnviro as well.

I also like the Canadians but it seems a bit obvious.

I also collect military issue blades.
I don't have the classic Ghroman Canadian issue Boat knife. It is the most useful and least tactical military knife in service.

If you don't have a first rate kitchen knife you should bump yours to the top of your list. I have the Spyderco Yang and a Lee Valley carbon french peasants that are excellent for the price but this ZDP189 Santoku from Japan (Hattori I think) is less than 200$ but unfindable.

More later I have to go to batman.

i like meatcutter's idea for the sog folder. i wouldn't mind the trident folder. one of the few knives sog makes in the USA. the bowies are almost entirely made in taiwan. i'm not opposed to that, but i am opposed to paying $120 for that. a shame because i really like the tech bowie, too.

Tramontina bolo? Those are cheap. I have two brand new ones. I am putting convex edges on them and having sheaths made for them. A little project of mine.
Want to reserve one for you?

I love the Mercworx knives especially the Gologotha with the chili handle and Greyman knives.

The AA Shaker is on my wish list along with the Northstar.

Did I mention the No 5 bayonet?

The soviet ballistic knife.

The microtch Manus and fishing knife if they ever stop making AR15's and get back to knives. Toss one of there AR15's on the pile as well though.

Chris Reeve Pro Sol

Atwood toys.

A custom bowie like the breast cancer one on the cover of Blade last month.
