Busse Combat is several times larger than ScrapYard, as I found out at Blade. When Dan says they are a small company, he MEANS it! That is one of the many things I specifically discussed with Dan at Blade. It is also one of the reasons I am happy and proud to deal with an AMERICAN company such as ScrapYard! While many bigger companies have moved to China, this little company holds to their principle of "Superior performance to Price Ratio"!

Along with my pictures from Blade, I believe I mentioned that Jim Crowell - member of the American Bladesmith Society - visited the ScrapYard booth while I was talking with Dan. Jim just could not believe that the Yard knives were being made here in the U.S.! Keep in mind that the Browning knives are made in China. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> I like my Crowell-Barker bowies, but wish they had been made here in the U.S. instead of Taiwan!

That's why I bought a MPLE a few weeks back, LOL Maybe I'll buy another, we'll see how the funds look.

Yeah, saw those eariler today, very BEAUTIFUL knives. I'll bet they will be expensive as hell. I know I'm new to this ganza stuff, but there were no prices yet, the last one did, with pics.

WOW...Those Busses are works of art. The pricing should be interesting. I'll be patient and spend my money on SY users rather than on a knife or knives that are just too pretty to use and abuse.

I have my ASH1 and have yet to use it, one of these days I will get around to it. I have my SwampRats/Scrapyard/Rangers and Barkies for users

I am really looking forward to a BirdDog. Pop got me all excited about a really sharp scrapper. I already have a Muppy and they are a great knife for anyone who missed out on the SS4. I hope they spend a bit more time on the edges because they
are quite hard to sharpen and I think you will find a lot more customer satisfaction if they come nice and sharp.

I just got the barker knife as part of a trade this week and it is [censored] impressive
but no DFLE. The grinds were impeccable and the distal taper and the way the tang gets thinner look and work fantastic.
I would definitly like it as a fighter.

As far as I am concerned Dan can take as long as he wants to let my poor CC heal.
