i know the HI's are good but they can be hit and miss depending on the kami who makes that particular khuk.i dont want hit and miss with my heat treat.
i think only thing one busse kin or another hasnt come out with is a khuk, machette and a bollo for the most part.
either one would be fine but technically i can get myself a good bollo or machete right now as horn dog knows.i already have the machete from BR.
i need a busse kin caliber khuk most of all but would also wet myself over a bollo or machete.
......oh,dont forget necker for the opposite end of the spectrum.scrapshaker!!!

jerry made the aftershock bolo, so scratch that off the list. you'll never see a machete made of infi.
he has a khukri in the works, it's on my definite buy list.

We haven't seen what the NMBM looks like yet -- it may be something to consider. Of course, for the price of an INFI khuk you could probably test and go through several HIs. I'd like to see a Res-C handled khuk (preferably, a traditionally-styled cylinder handle, but in Res-C).

I would look at Tora kuks as well. I have several and they're very solid.

Jerry Busse had some plans for a kukri. Mike Stewart is making one in the future. Ontario makes one in 1095 that is only available at BQM. It is reasonably priced. I like my HIs, but there is nothing wrong with a Cold Steel Gurkha in SK-5 or Carbon V. Even their cheap kukri machetes in 1055 do pretty well. I'm going to do a modern Kukri comparison over on W&SS forum soon. Sure wish I had a SY or Busse in there. Maybe one day. Right now the cream of the high tech kukris is likely the CS in San Mai, but it is pricey.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I have some Rosarms kukuris on order but they were not in the last shipment from Russia so it could be a while. Still a beautifully mirror finished kukuri with a 15 inch BLADE of excellent stainless and a micarta handle is worth the wait.
I am also looking forward to the Busse kukuri. It is going to be quite different than the Rosarms but also very good.

Haven't seen the rosarms ones. Ted has a custom kukri that is just awesome to look at. I have been lucky with my HIs. They are well-made.

here's jerry's bolo. Cool. That's the thing about bolos, the variety is endless. Some are recurves, some not. Some even have clip points. Bet it chops!

I started an ERGO thread on the BF Busse page and someone has a nice user bolo and 3 BM-e's and the bolo had a distinct recurve.
I just realized that the Becker Patrol machete would be great. The new becker won't be making the Patrol because they don't have machines big enough anymore. My bet is Rosarms has a huge old WW2 german model dragged back from germany. Or a big Russian one like the 7.62/39 machine in the opening credits of Lord or War".

i need a busse kin caliber khuk most of all but would also wet myself over a bollo or machete. Eric said there was a design for a Rat Machete, but it was never released...
