For me, the sharpest knives have come from Bob Dozier. These knives are super sharp right out of the box.

i bought that one on top there at BLADE this year.its my first dozier and yeah, its sharp.bark rivers are sharp as we all know

as far as who's sharp i think it may also depend on the model as well.

Just got a package with a new Spyderco Caly3 CF ,laminate ZDP that has an amazing edge. It is also a sexy little scalpel.

the sharpest edges I've seen are spyderco and benchmade, my SOG SEAL pup was not terribly sharp out of the box. All of my busse kin knives have have had good field edges, but my Ranger RD7 came with almost no edge at all <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Have you hugged your camp knife today?

Murray Carter. I have a couple of his neck knives. If you handle one of his knives, sharp will be redefined.

My Muela Rebeco. Right out of the box was so sharp, I shaved the back and sides of my neck with it. Now that's sharp!

Of course, I immediately had to go to a proper barber to cover up the ugly haircut I gave myself! LOL!
