look solid. i've seen those cross straps before on other sheathes, but don't know what they're for. horizontal carry? expansion? support?

That means alot coming from a sheath master like you. I just need more knives to keep up the work on making sheaths for them. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Any reason to get more knives sounds like a good reason to me. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I like that cross strap look, gives a very sturdy look. Wouldnt they fasten to a backpack strap?

I use the cross straps to sometimes wear the sheath horizontal. And on the front it works as a MOLLE attachment to put a pouch or whatever. But like you said you could strap it to you pack or gear. More knives are always good for me, just not my bank account.

Those are the ugliest sheaths I have ever seen! I love them though! They have a definite character and they probably work just fine. I also like RatRods ,old beat up musclecars and rods with black primer ,big motors and steel wheels.
Your sheaths are Ratsheaths.
