Did you see that girl who when she got a good score just jumped into the air into a complete standing Front flip? It was not a concious thing it was like when she is happy she does a standing Front flip like I would play air guitar and smile. An extra 20$ in the bank machine "flip". It was like she was some different species. i expectefd her to fly away like Wonder Woman.

Swimming is mine. I coached swimimming for 10 years and just have a real love for it. Michael Phelps is amazing.

The youngest girl on the USA diving team (15) is from my county. Her name is Mary Beth Dunnichay. She's from Elwood which is like 6 miles from me. My Mom went to school with some members of her family.

Fencing - women's sabre. The US women dominated the event. In the last Olympics the top US woman won the Gold and it was the first time the US won a medal in fencing in 100 years(men or women). She won GOLD again this Olympics and brought a couple friends. They swept the womens fencing and she won the first Gold medal of these Olympics for the US. Not bad.

Oh, btw their names are: Mariel Zagunis, Sada Jacobson and Becca Ward went 1-2-3 in saber, putting the U.S. on the medals chart.

My wife is the big sports nut in our house..LOL

I just wish they would give more coverage to fencing after all the first Gold medal of the games went to a woman's US saber fencer <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

There's very little action and scoring occurs infrequently at best. But when it does occur, the crowds go wild!

sounds a lot like soccer.
