I watched the highlights for the swimming event when we won the gold, that was an amazing comeback to win.

I think our team should publicly thank the French swimmers for the extra motivation their empty boast provided.

The French team can be thankful that their boast wasn't spoken in German.

And he took his 10th and 11th gold medals today as well as set MORE world records.

Plus he still has a couple races left to keep at it!

Fencing - women's sabre. The US women dominated the event. In the last Olympics the top US woman won the Gold and it was the first time the US won a medal in fencing in 100 years(men or women). She won GOLD again this Olympics and brought a couple friends. They swept the womens fencing and she won the first Gold medal of these Olympics for the US. Not bad.

Oh, btw their names are: Mariel Zagunis, Sada Jacobson and Becca Ward went 1-2-3 in saber, putting the U.S. on the medals chart.

WOW that is impressive. Fencing moves so fast that I am not sure I understand the nuances of the sport....but very cool, 1 2 $ 3

That guy is a swimming machine. I was also very proud of our womens saber team. The saber is fairly heavy for fencing and considered a man's weapon. My old English girfriend of 30 years ago used to beat me in fencing, until we went to sabers.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
