During the break in rain and wind, I got out to the mailbox. My kydex for the BDLE and Crash Axe are here.

All this moisture has made strange things grow, like this yellow fungus.

What a neat little axe sheath. Jeff gave me some extra screws and stuff to attach my HCLE sheath, if I want to.

Here is the back of the sheath.

And I got this nifty little sheath for my Bird Dog.

I think I'll be using the axe a lot soon.

Couldn't resist one throw. I hate being couped up for so long in the storm.

Yes! Great work as usual, Jeff. Thanks.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Excellent work Jeff! Nice looking toys ya got there HD. I sympathize with you on the rain thing. We got 10 inches in three hours last monday night and we didn't even have a tropical storm to blame it on, just good ole' Texas weather!

Very nice. That fungus is pretty. It looks like little yellow flowers.

Good to see you got the kydex.

Glad you like'em too. The Crash Axe sheath is unique in the way it was made. Generally you'd see the impression in the front pieces of kydex, or both, but with that one I tried to make the front as flat as possible, so you can attach the Harry Carry to the front if you want.. Let me know how she works out.

Thanks guys.

I like the sheaths a lot, Jeff. I may never wear the crash axe combo, but it is so nice to have the option. I think I will keep the crash axe in my jeep and that kydex will make it travel safely. I like the Bird Dog sheath, too. Actually, I like the knife itself more than I thought I would. If the rain and wind EVER ends, I'm going to put a better edge on it. The blade has a truly useful shape for many tasks, including self defense.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Those are some beautiful sheaths. Makes me wish I had gotten a crash axe. That Bird Dog really shines in the kitchen. The blade shape is perfect for meat preparation and is great for cleaning fish.

Nice!

Maybe an axe is what is coming next? I can use a nice axe, and Crash Axes are hard to come by!
