my friends and i were dropping mentos in seltzer in an empty parking lot. the cops arrived and stopped us with a bad attitude.

mentos and seltzer. menaces, we are.

FYI, I saw on MythBusters that it works better with Diet Soda because the artificial sweeteners add to the effect and make the biggest geyser.

I haven't done squat to my yard. And rigth now it looks like a yard sale, there's stuff all over the place. I was hoping to clean it up tomorrow, but I just took my dogs out and there's still standing water. So I'll sit on my butt for a few more days.

You got more rain and flooding that I did. Maybe you should wait and see where the next one hits. A big one even over in the panhandle can still affect us quite a bit.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

HD,

Great burn barrel! It looks a like a Weber Chimney Starter on steroids.

I just watched the international weather forecast and it does not look good for you guys....talk of New Orleans having to prepare very carefully...so I hope you all make out OK.

In many ways we are unappreciative of our weather here...it may be wet and gloomy too much but it is very rarely dangerous.

Gustav already has Louisiana declaring a State of Emergency and there is talk of Gustav being upgraded to a Hurricane.

So was cleaning up easier with the DFLE, or the Golok?

Sure seems like it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> . And I am guessing the Golok was more fun to play with than the DFLE.
