Did Jerry ever cough up that bottle of JWB you won? I don't remember it being handed over at the induction dinner...
I doubt he wants to give it up without some convincing! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

You should have joined us at the late night knife discussion on Friday night! I brought a bottle to share.
The question actually crossed my mind part way up the hill yesterday! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

JWB?? What brand/type of liqour is this?? If we're talking whiskey, I've always been fond of Jamesons and Gibsons; probably the two best whiskeys you could drop onto your tongue, IMHO. Crown Royal comes after them. LOL!

I just saw in another post... JWB = Johnny Walker Blue. Scotch, eh? I've always preferred 30 year old Glenfiddich for my Scotch, just tastes so smooth.
So Dan, let us know if you were able to claim your prize.

It also comes in Black, Red, Green, Gold - the Blue being the most premium.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnnie_Walker | | |

Yeah, I've tried all 5 labels of Johnny, but still prefer the 30 year Glenfiddich over it. It's a taste unto itself.

I don't drink hard liquor, which is a bit shameful to admit... Not at all. I used to drink quite a bit (back when I was in the Navy). However, eventually I recognized that I wasn't drinking because I enjoyed it so much as to "keep up" with the people I was with. I'd often drink until I made myself ill, which was certainly no fun, so for the most part I stopped. I may still drink wine occasionally, or have a couple beers, or even drink a shot once or twice in a year, but I'll usually just have a (diet) Pepsi instead. It's nothing religious and I don't resent those who do indulge, but I don't think it's good to drink due to social pressure, which is what I did in my youth.

I don't care for any Scotch whisky I've ever tasted. My ancestors came from Scotland and Ireland in the early 1700s and settled in SC and then TN. Those Scotch-Irish created an upgraded and much improved whisky, Tennessee whisky. I'll take George Dickel, the INFI of whisky.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
