The "for the people" part was not explcit enough. How about high quality, affordable, limited production knives for the discriminating user. Too yuppie?

While the main reason I cancelled my FBM order was that I decided I couldn't live with the handle, I must admit I agree that Dan's prices are much easier to take than the other Busse family outfits..

To have the right knife for the job you have to be a collector! I have a SS4, S6 and DF on it's way, plus a machete, Wilkinson Sword CSK II and some other crap mainstream knives and about 5 or 6 multi tools. That way you have a good tool for any job! I figure my minimum carry would be the SS4, then S6 and if I was really going somewhere wild the DF and SS4 (in each occasion add a folding saw and a Gerber tool!). It's nice to have options! We are lucky to have the yard!
