Well guys thought i would drop by and let everyone know the good news. Monday night at around 10PM we got the call that there was a kidney being flown in from the east coast for my mom. After waiting 9 yrs a kidney finally was avalible from a 23 yr old male who died. We had to leave my home town to LA the next morning or the kidney would be flown back.

Tuesday night she had her surgery and everything went very well. So far the kidney has accepted and she is producing good amounts of urine. She is still along ways from recovery tho. The first month is always the hardest due to the suppression meds they are gonna be giving her. At the moment im saying at my aunts here in LA. My net got disconnected about a month so that is why i havent been on. Since this trip was not planed and very spare of the moment i had to to choice to pay my utillites or the phone and net. So i will be with out the net for a little longer but will pop on from time to time.

I won't be able to purchase any knives for awhile. I'am curious to know if there has been any releases. I would look it up but im on my cousins laptop and she uses wifi and it is like watching grass grow. I hope to chat it up with everyone as soon as i can. PoP ill try and call you up sometime soon. You have been a very great friend to me in my time of need. To be honnest everyone here has all your kind words and prayers have given me the stenght to carry on.

Glad the transplant went well L4D. You know this bunch of dogs can be rowdy but we pray for each other and our loved ones. God bless you and your mother.

There was a dog bowl release of Mud Puppy LEs, with a couple more bowls to follow. One will probably be Bird Dog LEs. Many in the pack are looking for tan Yard Keepers in the last bowl, others are hoping for something brand new. Unless it's an overrun, I wouldn't expect a new release to be done as a dog bowl though. Also, there's a new employee on the Scrap Yard team named Renee.

Busse Combat did a very brief one-time Nuclear Meltdown Fusion Battle Mistress release (the night of 8/18/08 to 9/1/08 -- CG base price was $467.00, I recall that LEs were $300 more), followed by a transition to what they're calling the "Hack" series. The first Hack is a small knife called the Bear Cub (they're actually quite a bit smaller than a Game Warden). I went for a couple of the CG NMFBMs, but will pass on the Cubs; I think they'll be too small to be comfortable in my hands.

Eric is selling the HCLEs to non-preorder folks now.

It's great to hear that your Mom is doing well. I understand she's not out of the woods yet, but it sound like she's navigated her early obstacles very well and I hope she continues to recover.
