I have been doing some heavy searching the last couple of days and I am ready to announce the 2nd Dog Bowl. It will be on Monday (9-8-08) between 9pm and 10pm Eastern.

The next "bone" for the bowl is going to be the Bird Dog LE. These knives are going to be VERY limited, so goodluck to all you Dogs!

For this Dog Bowl we are also going to offer all nylon sheaths at 1/2 price, so come and get em!

Remember I still have one more bone to throw you all, so I have to get back to work so I can do some more dumpster diving!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Thanks for posting the specs...

It's a shame that Renee didn't do it herself..

I actually like my Bird Dog even better than the more rugged Mud Puppy. It is such a wicked little slicer. Good luck dogs.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Amen!

The Bird is a knife I would NOT,NOT,NOT even consider passing on.

The Bird Dog is just one of those knives that does it all.The 4 1/2 inch cutting edge makes this a big time slicer.
The wicked fillet knife shape lends itself to cleaning and gutting fish and small game.
Heck I could see using it eagerly to dress out a Wisconsin Deer!

Menacing as a self defense blade. The sweeping curve of The Bird strikes fear in any who would oppose it.
The long full Mudder Res-C handle fits in your hand like the legendary Street Scrapper Four!

This is a blade I would NOT do without. You will find so many things to use it for that you like me
will finally just wear it on your belt every day when you dress.

Great knife at a great price,I wouldn't consider sitting on the fence with this release at all. The Bird Dog like the SS-4 is a must have.
Don't kick yourself later and pay through the nose on the secondary market, get one here while you can.
You will NOT regret the move. Happy Hunting!

Peace.

I'M IN!!!!!!!!...........for the 1/2 price sheaths Like the MPLE the BDLE is a great little knife. Since I already have one I'll stand back and let the new Dogs feed.

I have a number of great sheaths (and more on the way) made by rainwalker but the nylon sheaths the Yard offerers are a very serviceable sheath. I think getting a couple of spares while the price is right is a good idea.

As my wife would say....."Honey I didn't just spend $500.00 on shoes I saved $300.00 because I waited until they were on SALE!"
