This one's made of O1. Gotta say this was MUCH easier than the last two blades. Less than two hours and all it needs now is a hardening and final sharpening.

Design is a little bit Koster, little Busse, little Gossman, and a little Mora.

I'm heading out to get a bench grinder to make another couple blades, then I'll heat treat them all together.

Sweet blade. Is that a full convex grind?
What are the handle plans?

Great to see you working on some better steel now. Looking forward to more pictures.

I really like the blade shape, but the handle seems a little long, then again, I can't tell how big that knife is.

full convex it is. i didn't measure anything, just started cutting with the rotary. ended up with a blade length of 4.25" and overall 8.75".

anyway, i just got myself an 8" bench grinder. time for another blade or two.

That's nice. I've been toying with some blade designs and i'm about to take the plunge into knife making myself. Do tell us more I'm curious to know.

the only tools i used for this knife are the 1x30 belt sander, a dremel, and a hand drill.

i just made another knife, a PSK that falls somewhere between the BRKT and Gossman versions. for this one i used the 8" grinder as well as the tools mentioned. it has a few nice features, but the sander does about as well.

i'll go snap a pic for you guys.

That first one looks like a great Bushcraft blade!
