When Chuck Norris was born, the only person who cried was the doctor. Never slap Chuck Norris. Happy Birthday PoP!

Howdy hey Dogs!

Rather than write all this twice I copied it from my other post!

Seems my dear friend Victor Ross found a way to work a miracle for me on my birthday... I am now the proud owner of a Scrapper Six and a Spec Ops Sheath!!!!!

WOOOOOOOOO WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I never dreamed I'd be able to score one. And it seems that when my bride tried to pay The Horn Dog he declined payment and said it was a Happy Birthday from him!!

Vic you are the sweetest and coolest Dog there is around!!

I have to get my camera set up again on this puter so I can show you all. Vic passed the S-6 through The Third World Grind Shop and it has a spanking sharp edge that is frightening!
I know scary sharp and by all that's Holy this knife is SCARY sharp!!
What a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday. As most of you JYD's know last year I was still hoping to even have this birthday. All is in remission and I am healthy as a horse again. And this Scrapper Six makes me shudder with joy!

I can't believe how it fills my hand but is soooo much lighter than the Yard Hook at only a inch longer. I don't know how they did it but this first offering from Scrap Yard is a must have...as much as a Street Scrapper Four is. THIS knife is awesome!!

Vic I really don't know how to say thank you in a way that will convey how much this really does mean to me. But know that I am in your debt for your generosity and kindness.

I will treasure the knife and the Spec Ops sheath as well all the days of my life. And I will NEVER forget where it came from either.

God bless all you Dogs and a little special for my Horned friend too!

Peace.

Dave

I can NOT keep from holding this and marveling at the sweetness of the S-6!

It is just perfect. The weight, balance, and the oversized handle is freaking me out! Fits my mits like a glove!!!

The Hook is way more awkward and heavy than the S-6 I can't believe it!

I am head over heels in love with this and the sheath! This is the first ballistic nylon/kydex sheath I have ever owned. I wore it all day at work. We had Birthday celebrated at 6:00 a.m. due to our daughters Cheer schedule and I actually took off my Mud Puppy all day.
First time since it came!
Kept the Bird cross draw like always on my left hip but that S-6 in nylon rode my right hip all day.
I love it. You know it is the ONLY model I don't have.

I missed the first offering and been kicking myself ever since. Now when Bruce has his "Pick your all time favorite SYK" threads I too can say the Scrapper Six!
It is nutty how light and fast in hand it is! And with The Third World Spank on it I feel like I am set for Bear!

What a classic knife this is. Vic I said it before and I'll say it again,I didn't even know I'd see this Birthday a while back and now that I have put that behind me and finally feel good again this knife from you will be treasured forever by me.

I keep a journal of all my knives. Where they came from, how much, why I picked it and stuff like that. I want my children to read and understand why I did what I did and appreciate the knives I will leave behind.

This knife will surely have it's own page filled with beautiful words and a heartfelt description of how when and why it came into my life. I only pray that they find some appreciation for my collection one day. If not I'll have Sherry bury me with every frickin knife I own and take them all with me to rot!!!

LOL, I'm not that mean. But I wish I felt like any of my children found my collection at least interesting. Oh well,I do and for now that's all that matters!

Thanks again my dear friend for this beautiful pristine S-6! I will forever treasure it and the one who gave it to me.

Peace,

Dave.

Glad you like the knife, PoP. It had the original factory edge, but as I was getting it ready to ship, I remembered how sharp you like your knives, so I put an edge on it like I have on my one remaining S6. I just had a feeling last year at Blade that some dogs would need some S6s so I bought a few extras. All the spares are gone now. I think the sheath is SYKCO, but who knows? I have so many black sheaths lying around, it might be one of the Spec Ops ones. The knife fit it, so off it went. Enjoy.
