Hey guys, anyone know if the 10" nylon sheath is the same as the sheaths Justin Gingrich of Ranger Knives shipped with his RD series?
A close up shot, particularly of the back of the sheath, would be most appreciated.
The sheaths Justin shipped had a design flaw with the button snap for the MOLLE strap, it's located at the end of the sheath past where the plastic liner keeps it rigid, so if you pull on the strap the flap that the snap is on folds back and the button can easily pop off (yikes, say that in one breath lol)

My Dog Father sheath is at home. I won't be able to post a picture of the back until tomorrow. The snap on this sheath is also below the plastic liner also. I've not had a problem with this design.
If someone else hasn't done it by tomorrow moring I'll post you a picture then.

i'm not sure if they are MOLLE compatible.
the ones my DFCG & BR came in arent MOLLE but maybe these one from the yard are a newer style.
another flaw the ranger sheaths had was that the velcro retaining strap that wraps around the handle was located to low and was on the palm swell so it was pretty much useless for retainment.justin got it fixed towards the end.

Here are the pictures you requested. I hope they help. I did put a double cord wrap on the lower portion of the sheath. I think it still shows everything you wanted to see. If not let me know and I'll take new pictures without the cord wrap.

I do like the nylon sheaths the Yard has, always have;
-they are funtional -they are tough -they fit the blade well -they ride well and secure -and the price is nice.

That is funny my DF sheath is NOT molle compatible, but I don't need it to be. It is however ambidextrous, and I like it, it is everything I need from a sheath of that size.
