Even though I chose to cancel my order, if I had one I would just have to know how well it chopped. That's what that knife is all about.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I can't remember who said it, but it's always a good idea to test your blade first before you really need to use it in a emergency to find out it has a defect.

Good idea...was the handle on the machete the same type of Kraton? Might give this a go....did you use a sander attachment or a stone attachment? Have you any pics as to how it turned out? Thanks for the tip...

yup it was the same kraton and i used a wheel but it doesnt matter, its not a fancy job.you could use absolutely anything that will cut, scrape, rub or file that checkering off.

it is a little smooth if you take it all the way down.its not grippy like res-c.sorry i dont have any pics

I fell a few pines last week with a CG DF... she did great, but I was wishing I had the NMFBM in hand.

I just got back last night from a little vacation in Big Bear CA, and did a bunch of hiking and such... wish I had the NMFBM then too.

User- She just screams use me...

I plan on using mine for clearing some tree branches that split and are sticking out into my pond. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
