The Skookum is a pretty cool knife but there is a 2 year waiting list <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> You can get it in 3v steel now(or in 18 months actually) which may have done better against the INFI in the SS4. OP Unsub Junk Yard Dog Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 3,873 Northern saskatchawan	Thanks guys ,well the SS4 is now the hands down winner because I have been selling off a lot of my knife collection and the Skookum is going to go but the SS4 is definitely staying. Some of it has to do with the skookum being in like new condition while the SS4 is totally beat up ,has no coating and a very thin zero edge but mostly it is all about function. The reason I am selling of a big chunck of my knives is I am getting into antique blackpowder guns and the kind of edged weapons that suits them. So it is really saying something about how good the SS4 works, I am keeping a knife with a rubber handle. "if you want to be a hero you have to learn to drive stick"! Sara Conner
