My tan yard keeper arrived in the mail today. It looks really nice and the balance is good. I thought that it might have a crinkle coating on the blade, not sure what type of finish it is, but it matches the handle nicely. The cutting edge is about the same length as the dumpster mutt, but the full length of the blade is about an inch or possibly two inches shorter. For some reason I was thinking that it was going to be longer then the d.m., maybe I was thinking of the yard guard. All in all a very nice looking knife. It also fits my kydex sheath that I had bought for the d.m., but was to short to fit it. It fits the yard keeper pretty good. I've always felt that the Yard Keepers were a somewhat higher-end knife than the Dumpster Mutts. I think they're currently priced the same, but (due largely to timing) I've paid more for my YKs than DMs. Also, while I don't know the actual numbers, I believe that there have been a lot more DMs released than YKs.

I just picked my Yard Keeper up today; and I gotta say, now that I've handled it, I wished I'd ordered two of them! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" /> It just feels right as soon as you hold it. I'm at odds to decide which is my fave EDC now:
