My online CC reporting (Discover) is sometimes slow enough that I receive knives before the charge appears on my activity statement. I hoped that NMFBMs wouldn't begin shipping until later (after Knob Creek), although I guess it doesn't really matter. I'm pretty sure I'll be in the first batch -- from the pictures Jerry posted, it looks like they've got a lot of them ready to go out.

So was it 17 inches overall, or 17 inches of blade. The former sounds large but not awe inspiring, and the latter sounds more like a sword than a knife...
