Can someone please explain what is a "Double Cut" finish? Is it a gray coating? Naked steel? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

It is a matte bead blasted finish. There is no coating, so keep it oiled.

Is there an oil you recommend, or can I just use cheap-o WD-40?

I reuse the stuff I use on my firearms, namely Hoppe's Elite Gun Oil...
