i want one, will get one and look forward to it but i dont understand why this particular busse blade is so revered.
people are pretty exited.maybe once i get it i will understand but since i've never even held one i'm in the dark.

The SFNO is widely recognized as one of the best all-around offerings Busse has ever released.

I've never held one, so I'm kind of in the dark here, but I've always liked the look of the SFNO.

Some guy broke the tip on his SFNO. The handle scales came loose, too. Just goes to show that it can happen to any knife, even INFI. A thin acute point is desirable for some tasks, but you should never pry with one, no matter the steel. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=585438
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I've wanted an SFNO for quite some time. I really like the looks and feel of it. Still kicking myself over the one I had in my hands at fall 2007 Knob Creek, It could'a been mine, I must'a been blinded by all the INFI and couldn't think straight!

You put all that together and you have the perfect camp knife. and you also have a good number of other busse offers with very similar features. they all have fantastic balance and handle.there all INFI.a whole bunch of them have drop points and a thumb notch and i think they 90% of them have choils and a 7in blade isnt something we havnt seen before,or close to it. why is this one SO much better than the others?? people have had "death chats" begging for the return of this knife.

I doubt anyone will argue that it destroys every other knife in it's class. It's just a favorite as a jack of all trades. For any specific task you can find another Busse that will beat it out, but people just like its versatility. The SFNO is a pretty well balanced knife. To my eye the most similar Busse to it looks like the Satin Jack Tac (though it's a tad smaller). I've never held one, but I've read threads where people complained about the Tac handles not being as comfortable as the fusion handles. The Ash-1 looks like a similar sized blade, but doesn't look like it would be as good a chopper. The Sarq looks like a chopper. Not sure which other Busses are similar in size and shape, but the one I really want for comparison is the clip point S7.

I've also wanted one for a little while, depending on price, I should be getting one.
