Received my first Scrap Yard Knife today, the Dumpster Mutt DC.
Upon receiving fresh air and light the blade sang to me a rumbling, powerful chorus. The steel is magnetic; photons are the carrier particle of this force I believe? The Mutt glows akin to renowned blades of legend and lore.
I’d wage a years crop that this Mutt bests the rest. Eviscerating zombies, disemboweling goblins, falling petrified trees, macerating armor, blade to flesh, blade to blade, victor in all. This is the toughest blade in the world. Nay! This is toughest blade in the universe. I hereby challenge all space-aliens to forge a tougher steel.
Mjöllnir and Andúril have a fighting chance, but a fight they would have.
I want another.
Want… no, that is wrong. I need.
edit: trying to add pic, but I'm not good at this... sorry.

I don't have huge hands, but have found the length of the DM handles just a tad short of optimal for me -- not a complaint mind you, everyone's hands are different. I recently bought another MOD7 from the BladeForums Exchange, and it came with a paracord wrap on the handle. I figured the first thing I'd do when I received it was remove the wrap, but when I held it, I found the wrap actually made the handle more comfortable to me.
Granted, the MOD7 has an old recycled Basic handle vs the DCDMs newer design, but I thought I'd pass the info along in case you want to give it a try. Those DCDMs were a great deal on an outstanding knife.

I think I'll have what he's smoking. But the knives do seem to creat a mystic blue haze around my hand as I gently caress the handle. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Mjöllnir and Andúril have a fighting chance, but a fight they would have. my sentiment exactly dude. congrats on the SR77 magic. may the force be with you
