congrats tom

nice pics wd. there was a custom harry carry with a 4 inch blade I am sure got picked up by someone. you can see in the pic busse had badgers, hellrazors, hacks, and there was a jackhammer also. I picked up a sarsquatch looks like there weren't any left. I thought today was much funner. there was more people there. dan, it is too bad I didn't get to meet you.

an interesting note, justin sold ranger knives to ontario. I enjoyed talking with him, 360 joules and skunk. the busse team explained the different models and were very helpful.

I think I was close to the first one at the Busse Table on Friday morning (Troy gave me a VIP pass, thanks). I picked up a Satin SFNO (0.22") and a Satin HOGSJTAK (0.22") with pumkin MAG handles. These two knives were on my hope and pray search till you drop list. I have posted pictures on the Busse Forum on the other forum. This was my third Blade West. The Busse compound is run by Idaho Skunk (Scott) and 360Joules (Troy) with others helping. Randucci also runs a table. They had a lot of CG knives and a few customs. I almost bought a SATIN FFBM (very nice) but decided on the SJTAK instead. No MUK's No SAR4. Several nice SAR5 and lots of jack hammers, competition HR, SJ, SARsquatch. Lots of AD, MS, Chopwielers, one SOW, many M6, and others. Scott keep the knives covered until a crowd was there to prevent too much grabbing. One South Korean business man bought "one of everything". Not really, complete sets of BATAK's and abunch of other's. About $4K worth of CG kives. It was great fun and I had a chance to meet several HOG's and RAT's. It was true, no SY knives. Troy was suprised. Scott and Troy do not know what they will get until they get the knives.
Eugene knife show is actually far larger.

yeah it would have been nice scrappy, and I just missed Mtr (Mark)
I did handle that 4" HC, it was pretty nice. I also enjoyed talking to Justin

I hope that Dan sat out Blade West to build up stock for Knob Creek. I didn't see much that captured my interest in the pictures. I've been feeling foolish for buying older stuff in the secondary market instead of saving up for Knob Creek, but not quite so much anymore. I wouldn't have walked away empty-handed, but I don't think I'd have taken much home from the Bussekin booths at Blade West.

the show was a lot of fun but I had hoped there would be more to see.
washington is beautiful.
all the dogs gave me some great suggestions. we went to cannon beach, the water falls a couple times and stopped to look the dalles. there a lot of little towns in old remodeled buildings for tourists to look at.
