Very Nice adamlau. I am glad I got G-10. I almost called Amy and changed it though after that thread at Blade Forums where about 98% of the respondents said they went with micarta. No Regrets!

I hear you, chickenplucker. I read and felt the same as you, I was going to call up Amy and go with black micarta myself. I would have been a fool to do so as the matte G-10 is actually rather grippy. Not quite as tenacious as textured G-10, but surprisingly well done. A definite improvement over the Crash Axe G-10. Initial impressions?

1. The tip of the clip point was not as sharp as i would have liked from a factory edge.

2. Not as large and as heavy as I would have imagined. While it may get away from some users, the shaped handles should keep the knife in line and under control with what I intend to use it for. Perhaps some of us need to work on grip strength <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> .

i got a NMFBM and the two you got are extra sexy bro,extra,extra sexy.the tiger hyde on the LE is murder and that black G10 on black blade is top notch.

wish i could go back and order another.at least i ordered one in the first place though.definitely no regrets on this one,only if i didnt order.

I received mine yesterday -- I was having other issues so I wasn't in a particularly good mood, but my NMFBMs didn't overwhelm me as I'd hoped. Perhaps when I've got less to do and I can spend more time with them I'll come around -- don't get me wrong, they're very good blades, but I was looking for a mystical experience after dropping over a grand on two knives. Instead, it was more like, "That's nice, gotta get back to the yard work before it gets too dark."

I got a Jungle Green w/ Black Canvas Micarta and a Black w/ Black & Tan G10. The Jungle Green is dark and goes quite well with Black Micarta, those handles would probably look even better oiled; the BB&T looks like a custom shop job and is every bit as nice as I hoped. They're both VERY good looking knives, but I heard no chorus of angels nor did I yearn to slay dragons when I held them. It may have just been my mood, so I put them back in the box and set them aside for another day.

That LE is awesome. Sure see a lot of big Busses lately here on the SY forum. Personally, I'd like to see a BIG Scrapper soon.
