Well ladies and gentledogs here is a little taste of my summer, I have been gone ALOT this summer, not de to work just fun stuff. I have taken alot of time and explored my state and found things that I did not know were even here.
So I will give you pictures and tell you stories of my adventures along the way.
I will also add to this post as I travled so much this year I can'tget it all in at once ( besides I got to keep you on the hook)

This is a picture of the family and I on a bike ride on prt of the John Wayne trail that starts in North Bend and ends up in Idaho like 300 miles behind us is the Snoqualmie tunnel 2.3 miles long, dark, wet and the walls are covered with soot. The tunnel use to be a train tunnel from Chicago to Seattle and somehow the govt. "aquired" it.

[img][image]http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u10/stansbrew/summer2008130.jpg[/img][/image] This is a little further East out by a place called Lost Lake, very cool place ( I had my wife and kids in the truck and had my truc up on 2 wheels and she would not get out to tae a picture??? so instead you get this little waterfall) [img][image]http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u10/stansbrew/Maui2008fromlisa008.jpg[/img][/image] OK tis is a little out of the state but we took a trip to Maui to get some heat and sun always a great trip! Ok this is just some 4th of July fun at one of the neigbors houses but I thought the picture was cool.

I see your two girls are growing fast! My only girl is 16 now and"GULP" learning to drive a vehicle! The thought of it sends shivers down my spine. She has NO sense of direction at ALL. And has a very inattentive manner in the car in reference to her surroundings. Grew up and lived in this town all her life and I could drive her five minuets from home and have her completely lost. Good for you taking the family out in the woods an on vacation. Those are the best trips. So many people now days leave their kids behind and that's such a shame.

I lived in Bothell until I was 21. I miss it a lot. I used to ride the trail along the slough all the time.

Still ride here, but not as much, maybe when my boys are old enough to ride.
