So have you tried out that sharpener on the Tek-Lok yet? I haven't bothered to get any of those yet, been curious though.

that a nice rig you've got there. I've been making sketches of my ideal rig for the Chopweiler. I have a fine spec-ops sheath now, but I may soon need it hit up a custom maker

Have you hugged your camp knife today?

You've gotta love those Cupidganza #72 Military Overrun FBMs, and it's obvious that you do with wonderful rig.

[Note due to the Blast Match] I keep an Ultimate Survival Deluxe Tool Kit in a pack in my car, along with an extra package of WetFire Tinder, a few knives (not my best stuff in case the car gets broken into, Camillus and Cold Steel), about 100ft of 550 cord, and a couple Pro Force Emergency Survival Bags. I doubt I'll ever use any of it, but it's there just in case.

i like that design/idea a lot and plan on doing something similar with a few added touches on a sheath i plan on doing for a CGDM for my brother who's going to afghanistan in november.

i'm just not sure exactly what i want to piggyback on the dumpster mutt sheath for him.i'm thinking some sort of multi-tool now.i was thinking a small folder before but am thinking multi-tool now for sure.

I havn't. Been a while since I've needed anything sharpened. Should be beating on some blades during a camping trip this month so I'll try it out then.

Dave - something I have found useful is the addition of a leather piece mounted horizontally on the sheath. It facilitates use of "ALICE" clips which are used on compass/first-aid pouches. You can put several useful items in the pouch.
